Angus Lockhart ran 6KM and rowed 5KM each day of September for Astro Brain Tumour Fund because he wanted to support a friend who has a low grade glioma.

Angus Says:

“In 2018, my closest friend unfortunately was diagnosed with a low grade glioma. Having undergone brain surgery last year unfortunately the tumour is still growing and they’re undergoing surgery again in September/October 2019.
I ran 6KM and rowing 5KM every day in September. That’s 109 miles running and 90 miles rowing- in total 200 miles!”

Angus reached his target of raising £200 for each mile and surpassed it by earning an additional £46 in Gift Aid.
