“Treadmill 10 was my 10 mile walk/jog on my treadmill to raise funds for Astro Brain Tumour Fund. It was completed on schedule!
As ever, my fund-raising is inspired by my niece Gemma who fought her tumour so bravely until she died at only 29 years of age in November 2010. She was truly remarkable and remains a great inspiration. Treadmill 10 is a small tribute to her on her 40th birthday, 26th February.
Gemma’s example has helped me cover over 2,000 miles in training and races in recent years including the London Marathon 2011 and now over 20 Half Marathons”.
