Record keeping

It is strongly advisable to buy a large folder in which to keep records of all appointments, scans, conversations, notes, records of phone calls and what was said, changes in medications etc and take this with you to every appointment. There is often so much information to remember and, if you feel organised, it can be less bewildering. Also, and we do not mean to be derogatory in any way, doctors and nurses are not gods…they see a lot of people, and sometimes having previous written information with you on appointments can be helpful.
