  Trustees Mary And Robbie held this event at Holme-next-the Sea.  It was a great turnout and guests enjoyed a choice of 10 cakes with their tea and coffee.  A raffle was also held.

AFTERNOON TEA

  3rd August 2025 ABTF trustee Neal held his annual Afternoon Tea on 3rd August 2025. It proved to be a very popular occasion, as always, and the amazing sum of £2,004 was raised which was divided between Treetops Hospice and Astro Brain Tumour Fund. All in loving memory of Neal’s wife Catherine.

SOUP AND PUDDINGS

A Soup and Puddings event took place at Holme-next-the-Sea where guests enjoyed homemade fare.  A raffle and competitions were also held.

BURSTON GARDEN CENTRE

Staff at Burston Garden Centre, near St Albans, held various events in the latter part of 2024 including fun activities for children in the half term.   Also ladies knitting group held a sale of their goods.

Trustee Neal Blatherwick organised an Afternoon Tea for 148 guests.  £2,615 was raised which was divided between Treetops Hospice and Astro Brain Tumour Fund, all in memory of Neal’s wife, Catherine.

ABTF trustee Linda Rickford was persuaded to have a tattoo done and in doing so raised over £2,600 for the charity.  She also appeared on Breakfast  tv!

GREAT SCOTTISH RUN

  6th October 2024 Kane Willoughby and team successfully took part in this Half Marathon on 6th October and raised £1,680 via a Just Giving page. Kane did this in support of his sister Amy who is undergoing treatment for a low-grade brain tumour. One of the team generously sent Amy their medal
