“A competition for the best Christmas decorated window in our village was announced a few weeks ago so we thought we’d go for it.  It developed into a giant star, (with the help of a hola hoop!). This year is the tenth anniversary of the loss of my much loved niece Gemma to a brain tumour and I thought I’d dedicate it to her, a shining star in the sky. Then I thought she’d be well chuffed if we also managed to raise a bit of cash for her favourite charity (Astro Brain Tumour Fund).  So we asked for donations and a total of £364 has been raised for ABTF”.
