Trustee Linda Rickford belongs to a knitting group, The Crafty Knit-Wits, and they meet each week in a local pub called The Jack and Jill in Coulsdon. They were challenged to knit a life-sized figure for the pub and knitted Santa was born. He sat in the Pub for the whole of the Christmas period, clutching his knitted pint of Guinness, which actually housed a collection pot. Customers were then invited to buy him a virtual pint, glass of wine, or whatever he was in the mood for and pop the price of the drink into the glass!

Alongside this a Just Giving Page was opened, and we are pleased to report that a total of £1,105 has been donated to Astro Brain Tumour Fund.
